Axie Experience Points
Overview
Axie Experience Points (AXP) is a global, ecosystem-wide progression system for Axies. AXP itself is an off-chain token that is gained by Axies through gameplay and other various Axie experiences. Levels are on-chain numbers that are mapped to each Axie, while ascension is a mechanism where users need to sign an on-chain transaction for an Axie to advance to certain levels, at 10, 20, and 30, respectively.
AXP provides a RESTful API for developers. By integrating the AXP API, you can issue AXP to Axies in your game or dApp, get AXP balances, and more. This lets you connect your game to the Axie ecosystem and attract players to your game.
Get started with AXP API
Prerequisites
An API key for request authentication. To get an API key, create and set up an app in the Developer Console.
Request access
To begin issuing AXP, request access to the AXP service through the Developer Console.
- Go to Developer Console > your app > App Permission.
- Find AXP service, and then click Request Access.
- Fill out the form and submit the request.
