App Tracking

Overview

App Tracking is an API that enables you to measure your app's data, such as traffic, user information, and events. You can then view the data, already processed and analyzed, using pre-built visualization dashboards in the Developer Console.

Capabilities

  • Improved user experience: By tracking how users interact with your website or app, you can identify areas where the user experience can be improved. For example, you can see which pages are most popular, how long users are spending on each page, and what actions they are taking. This information can be used to make changes to your website or app to improve the user experience.
  • Trends: By tracking data over time, you can identify trends in user behavior. For example, you can see how traffic to your website has changed over time, or how the average time spent on each page has changed. This information can be used to make decisions about your marketing strategy, product development, and other business initiatives.
  • Informed business decisions: Use the data you collect to determine which marketing channels are most effective, which products are most popular, and where to focus your sales efforts.

How it works

Data measurement

Whenever a user interacts with your website or app, the website or app sends a request to the App Tracking API. The request includes information about the user, such as their IP address, browser, and operating system.

Data processing and reporting

The API then returns data about the interaction, such as the page that was visited, the time spent on the page, and any actions that were taken to the Sky Mavis database. These data is eventually visualized in the Developer Console.
